Is it weird for a vegetarian to be sickened by the smell of cooking meat?

i have been a vegetarian for about 2 months and lately whenever at school they are serving or cooking meat the smell just sicken me like the feeling i am going to throw up. I can look at meat and everything but its just the smell that bugs me. Is this normal?

Your just adapting to your new lifestyle my boyfriend and I have been vegetarian for 5 months, at first your mind will want to justify this change by creating an aversion to meat and your sense of smell is key in your desire to eat so the sickening feeling is normal and shows that you are committed to your choice. Eventually that disgust will not seem as heavy and you won’t notice it as much. Good choice and enjoy your healthy lifestyle. :D
