Anyone in culinary school right now or are going to be going? Where and any advice on staying strong and getting throught it. Plus anyone planning to start their own business after graduation? I am. Just wandering if there are others like me.

I had so much fun throughout college… but remember what you are there for?
Oh yes… “Keep an eye on your knives” and only YOU sharpen them!!!
Good luck…

I have never been but I’ve heard it’s as bad as boot camp (maybe exaggerated? I dunno)
But just keep your mind focused on your dream and Good Luck!

My husband is a chef with another degree, he went to USC (in Columbia SC) for a HRTM (Hospitality / Restaurant / Tourism / Management) degree. USC has one of the best HRTM departments in the nation, it gets in the top 5 every year, b/c it is close to Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head and Charleston (All hot tourism spots). So an HRTM degree might be a great way to go. But a great culinary school is Johnson and Wales, there is one in Charleston SC, but it is a chain of schools. They are in in VA,
NC, FL, RI and CO
P.S. My husband now has a great job with Disney at the Contemporary Resort!
