If I wanted to pursue a career in Culinary Arts, which school in Chicago would be best to attend?

I want to become a pastry chef and open up my own bakery one day. If any of you have done this before or know anyone who has, I’d like to hear from you. Any insight would be helpful.
I know that I will have to take a few business management classes, but as far culinary arts, how much education do I need to achieve this goal? Should I get an Associates or Bachelor’s degree? Or would a baking and pastry certificate suffice?
